Who's It For?
QLift is perfect for the time-conscious man or woman who wants to rejuvenate his or her youthful appearance, but who lacks the luxury of time to stay at home to recuperate and heal for several weeks after a more traditional facelift. Qualified candidates have droopiness of the cheeks and jowls. They should have realistic expectations for a quick lift without the expense or risks of surgery associated with a more traditional facelift.
How It Works
- We first make a small incision in front of the ear.
- With a purse-string suture, anchored at temporal hairline and drawn through the jawline, we elevate the muscle upward. This same technique is utilized for the cheek.
- Excess skin from the purse-string sutures is elevated upward in front of the ear and removed.
- Incisions are closed and hidden within the hairline and in front of the ear.
About Recovery
- After surgery, you will be taken into a recovery area for monitoring and then discharged home once stable.
- QLift effects are immediate following the procedure. Your surgeon will show you the amount of lift, personalized to you, that you can expect.
- You may be able to return to work within a few days, depending on type of work and extent of swelling & bruising. Your surgeon will specify your tailored recovery plan.
